Why you should Upgrade to Windows 7

Sep 3rd, 2009 | By fahad.majidi | Category: computer, windows 7

In the PC world and also the portable world of personal computers there is no stopping. The hardware phase of these computers along with the softwares always keep lacking something if not before the production of that thing then after manufacturing that the engineers themselves point out some flaw in their production. Now being humans we are supposed to do this but when will we get something complete. Well previously Microsoft has developed an OS which one can proudly point out as complete. The name of the OS has been kept as Windows 7. Now Bill Gates does not know the meaning of slowing down and seriously I mean no stopping this time. Windows 7 itself has so much to offer that the Forbes magazine would have to hire more personnel to give Mr. Gates time too.

Firstly keeping in mind the first impression which comes from the graphics. The Windows 7 has got much improved graphics which without doubt has come from experience. The availability of themes has been increased also increasing the amount of sound themes provided with an OS. The user can also choose the themes according to their country which are provided with in the OS. A new feature known in the labs as Desktop Slideshow comes installed as a stock feature too. This allows you to choose between any pictures and changes the desktop after customizable intervals automatically. The taskbar of the Windows 7 looks bigger than that in the Windows Vista. An Aero-peek has been included allowing you to view the desktop without minimizing your entire windows by making them transparent (Intelligent Right?). For the internal system Microsoft has developed Direct X 11 allowing graphics to look like hell great and also integrating HD controls in it too.

Input through graphic pads and touch screens has been enabled through an improved touch sensitivity control system. According to Mr. Gates the Windows 7 is a great step towards hand writing recognition along with voice recognition and commands. The Windows 7 boots up way faster than the previous operating systems giving it an upper hand in the competitions. The Media part of the Windows 7 also makes a person very happy. The Media Centre has been given a new look and along with that new controls too. Videos can be accessed from local or an external player. The Xbox 360 can also be used to play videos on your personal computer. Now when using a TV tuner card or so P.B.D.A is always there to help you. Standing for Protective Broadcast Driver Architecture this little feature gives you TV like clarity along with uninterrupted broadcast. The applications like calculator and Ms Paint have also received new interfaces usually known as the ribbon interface mostly referring to the Aero look.

Well at last we do have something to stay proud on. And one can keep going on about the Windows 7 and its amazing features. But before I get out of control for the Microsoft Fans out there I would love to: “Go Get’em Tiger!”
