Everybody uses YouTube, be it Facebook or Google developers, engineers and marketers or common netigens. So, bloggers also like to use the YouTube for embedding videos on their blogs and websites. You can nowadays also watch interactive youtube videos .

However, before embedding the video on your blog/websites you should customize it to suit to your blog and make it more user friendly and interesting for your readers.

1. Choose the Starting time.

You don’t need to annoy your readers by uninteresting and boring introduction of the video, so just skip the first few minutes/seconds by two methods
(a). Add #t=03m22s (#t=XXmYYs for XX mins and YY seconds) to the end of the URL in the embed code.

(b). Add ‘&start=40? to the end of the URL in the embed code to skip first 40 seconds of the video or whatever value after start= to the number of seconds you want to skip the video for.

3. Don’t Display Related Videos

If you don’t want your viewers or readers to not go away from your website or blog by clicking on related YouTube video suggestion then just add ‘&rel=0? to the end of the url of the embed code.

4. How to Autoplay and Loop an embedded video?

When you embed a Youtube video, the player is loaded and is idle there waiting for the user to hit the play button. You can make the video play automatically by adding ‘&autoplay=1? to the url of the embed code.

You can also add ‘&loop=1? to make the video start again without any user intervention after it reaches the end.
