Google Chrome is the leading web browsers available today .It has many extensions . Chrome Store has a variety of apps/extensions some are for navigation, mail, education,sports etc. Extensions in Chrome are made to help users in browsing.Here I am giving you a list of Top 5 extensions for students in Chrome.These are the extensions which I feel is necessary for a student ,If you have any other extension in your mind then feel free to post below.

1.StayFocusd – StayFocusd is an extension which increases your productivity by limiting the amount of time that you can spend on time-wasting websites. You can restrict entire site or just parts of them for as long or short of a time as necessary.

2. Graph.tk – It is an extension for students in math. It is a great tool for graph lovers.Graph.tk is an extension that brings the graphing capabilities of your calculator to the browser. It is very easy to use and good for plotting graphs based on equations.

3. Lightshot : Light Shot is an extension for taking screenshots. It is very easy to use, you can just select the region for screenshot and share it with you friends. There is a button in your toolbar, by which you can define an area in the browser and take a screenshot. Once you take the screenshot you can save it, copy it to the clipboard, or upload it or even copy the link to share.

4. Memorize! : Memorize is an extension for students who spends more time on Facebook or Reddit.In this extension you just have to give questions and answers that you want to study. Then the extension will pop up at some specified time intervals to ask you a question. And also questions will be asked until you are able to answer all of them, or you manually stop the extension.

5. Google Dictionary :Dictionary is a must for every student. By this extension you can find meaning of any word. If you want to know the definition of a word, then you have to click it and then a popup will show you the definition.

    Nice tips. I think I might install Google dictionary on all the computers in my classroom.

    Desmos offers a free graphing calculator app. It’s similar to graph.tk, but with a nicer interface. It’s also listed in the Chrome Web Store, but both of those “extensions” are really just bookmarks to websites.

    I’m not a student, but I think a couple of these extentions would be good for me. I like the StayFocused one because I find myself wasting way too much time on facebook. I also like the screen shot one. That would be handy to have.
