So most of you are happy running your sleek new Windows 8, eh?. Everything runs smoothly but the Windows Store.
NOTE : Users have been facing issues making a Microsoft Account from KGP LAN, for some reason it doesn’t work. However, you can easily make one through your Phone’s Net connection.
Here is a step by step guide to configure Proxy for Windows Store and other Metro apps.
1. Press the Start Key and type ‘cmd’.
2. Right Click on Command Prompt and run it as administrator.
3. In Command prompt type :
netsh
winhttp
import proxy source=ie
Close the command prompt and that’s it. You should be able to download apps using the Windows Store now (The built in apps won’t update through this).
Pretty straight forward indeed. If you do not mind, can you elaborate each command one by one. What they do and how we can change the proxy to our own proxy
