Bitdefender internet security is a comprehensive package designed for complete and assuring computer security . It includes all basic features like Parental control,anti spam,anti phishing,firewall, Link filter ,Online backup,file encryption,File shredder , Chat Encryption etc.

It has introduced many new features and improvement in its user interface in its new version making it way far better than earlier version. Lets look at some of the new features Bitdefender is having.

 What’s New???

• Auto Pilot: Basically  this feature applies an optimal security configuration and takes all security-related decisions  itself and you wont have to do anything , however on changing any settings it manages results in  it getting turned  off. This was a nice feature that bitdefender  implemented this time ,and is impressive and praise worthy.I am a big fan of all those feature which lessen user efforts .
• Scan Dispatcher: It scans your system when system resource usage falls below a threshold .
• Rescue Mode: is a feature that allows you to scan and disinfect all existing hard drive partitions outside of your operating system.In simple words threats which Bit Defender isn’t able to remove while OS is running , it reboots the system  for cleaning . Bitdefender has few other modes like laptop mode and gaming mode altough they were in earlier version These Modes are perhaps the coolest feature I found in Bitdefender .
• Integrated Cloud Services: this one was also impressive step taken by Bitdefender.You can makes use of the Bitdefender Cloud services to provide you with efficient and always up-to-date antispam protection.
• Social Networking Protection:Prevents social-networking specific e-threats by scanning the links received from the Facebook and Twitter friends, monitoring the privacy settings and much more.
• File Sync: You can easily synchronise files between your PC .

• Altough Bitdefender have cut down on installation time for this version ,it still takes long .
• It takes a lot of installation space
