PC Gaming a gift by William Higinbotham
A small analog computer’s instruction book gave William Higinbotham, the inspiration to invent one of the first electronic games. Higinbotham tried to use his oscilloscope for recreation purposes while working in Brookhaven National Laboratory which resulted into “Tennis for Two”.

Gamers play games ranging from shooting games, action games to various other plethora of categories in the gaming world.Nowadays RPG (Role Playing Games) are also quite popular among the youngsters.
Gaming has been criticised for increasing violence among kids and teenagers but there are many positives of gaming too. If we select proper games, they can help us a great deal. Gaming helps the kids to think strategically. Team games helps in building co-ordination among gamers. Some games enhance thinking power of the players as they have to build a plan to stay alive during the game and emerge as a winner. Shooting Games like Counter Strike helps in developing concentration of the gamer. It can also be used as a refreshing experience just after a day’s hectic schedule. After all, it’s just a game!!!
Before the widespread use of computers, handheld videogames were very popular. The controls, display and speakers are all part of a single unit and on the whole this makes it very portable and still it is not extinct from the market.
Spacewar to Counter-Strike to NFS UnderCover to Fifa09, the PC gaming have evolved a lot. There are a large number of free flash games which are easy to play.Nowadays there are lot of sites giving you the facilty to play Free Acrade Games. This adds to the gamers’ advantages.
