Orkut which the most popular social networking site in India has now started to invade users privacy through their so called Orkuteers.

Orkut is famous in India,Pakistan and Brazil due to the involvement of the communities,people feel like second home in communities. There isnt any single Orkut user who has not used communities. People spend more time in communities rather than their profiles.Some of the communities have members more than 100k . These Orkuteers who have been given special power and a medal in their Orkut Profile are now misusing their power and creating havoc in Orkut.They have special powers like getting ownership of the communities which are in crisis.But they are misusing their powers now.They have now started to take over several popular communities and transfering them to their friends profile or to some other account who favours them.Even the community members are not accepting them as the owners,coz it was the hard work by the community owner who made the community and then made it popular.Imagine you have made a large online forum and and there are lot of members out there who are addicted to your forum ,what if some day some random guy from ICANN comes and take your domain and says now I am the owner of this site.Will you accept this or will the members accept this?
Same is the case of orkut communities owners and the members are not accepting the new owners created by the so called Orkuteers (they were meant to be helpful to the users). But this is not the case ,some of them are taking over big communities and enjoying the name and fame in Orkut.

Some of the famous communities hijacked by the Orkut Guy:

• The Amir Khan Fan Club : This community has 127k members . This community was taken over by Orkut Guy and handed it over to one of his favourite Orkut profiles.
• Attitude and Style : This community has 80k members. This community is still owned by the Orkut Guy.
• The Shahrukh Khan fan Club : This Orkut Community has 376k members.Created on March 16, 2004 this community has extree die hard fans of Shahrukh Khan . The owner maintained the community from its starting days and now the community has been snatched from him.This is insane.Still owned by Orkut Guy.
• My name starts with A : This community has 156k members and this community was created on January 9, 2005 .This community too has been hijacked by Orkut Guy.
• Orkut Underground – OUG 13 : This community may have have only 10k members but these 10k members are those who form the base for the Orkut communities. Lot of guys who have joined this community has big big communities and they are  always up to date with latest development in Orkut .All latest bugs are reported here first.This community is one of the two communities which got featured in the Official Orkut Blog.Quote From official Orkut Blog :“The orkuteers were happy to serve as reps for many orkut users, and would like to thank all members from INDIA community and OUG community for feedback to help prepare for the orkuteer Day in Bangalore.” You can see how popular this community was .But today the Orkut Guy alias Vandini hacked this community and then transfered to some random guy who may be her friend (who knows). Google Help group too didnt give any response when asked by the commnity members in the help centre.You can support us here on Google Group .

Don’t know what there in those orkuteers mind but if you are a big/small Community owner in Orkut then beware of this Orkut Guy. And please spread this message through your sites blogs and various forums. Hoping that Google must do something about these incidents as it is hurting their name.Most of the guys use Orkut due to communities only(thats the speciality of Orkut).Hoping that they return the communities to the right owner

Update: They have returned most of the communities to the previous owners even OUG was returned thats cool.
I f your community is still with them they will return it to you in a day or too
