Skype ,which is the best software for videos calls has released a beta version of their chat software skype 4.2 .

According to the PCWorld:

[note]The HD capability is included in the beta version of Skype 4.2, the company said. The software was actually released for PC users in early December but Skype didn’t disclose the HD features at the time, perhaps because it wanted to make a splash at the Consumer Electronics Show, which gets under way this week in Las Vegas.[/note]

Features of the 720p HD Skype 4.2 beta are:

• Skype Access – access WiFi hotspots the easy way with your Skype Credit.
• Call transfer – transfer calls to a Skype contact or a mobile or landline.
• Updated call quality guide with pre-call soundcheck.
