Apple has reduced the prices of iPad 2 all over the world after releasing the new iPad. It has dropped the price of iPad 2 in US by $100 . In India, the 16 GB base model will now cost only Rs. 24,500 which is Rs.5000 lower from the earlier price tag of Rs. 29,500.
“iPad 2 is now offered at a more affordable price of INR 24,500, inc VAT for the 16GB Wi-Fi model (INR 23,333 exVAT) and just INR 32,900, inc VAT for the 16GB Wi-Fi + 3G model (INR 31,333 exVAT),” Apple India said in a press release on Thursday.
There is no information on the availability of the new iPad in the Indian market in the coming months,so as usual there might be delay of introduction of the latest iPad in India.
This price cut will be great for Indian consumers as it will force Samsung to reduce the prices of the Galaxy Tab 750, which is currently around Rs. 34,000 in India.
