#IconicIndianAds became the first Indian Non News Twitter Trending topic today with hell lots of people tweeting about it. It was all about Iconic Indian Ads which are quite popular in India. Some classic examples are:

  • Jyada khayegi moti ho jayegi. “I dont care”
  • Yeh fevicol ka jod hain toodega nahi
  • Fighter hamesha jeetata hai. Rotomac fighter.
  • “Mera number kab ayega?” — Pepsi
  • sehwag ki maa ka phone
  • jab ghar ki raunak bhadane ho, diwaron ko jab sajana ho. Nerolac. Nerolac
  • Khaitan fans ad – Bas naam hi kafi hai
  • tandurusti ki raksha karta hai Lifebuoy… Lifebuoy hai jahaan, tandurusti hai vahaan … Lifebuoy!
  • Bole mere lips..I love uncle chips
