Here is the thing about “Google wave”: It’s not the next revolutionary internet product but wait am I too early to enunciate that? We are also giving 20 google wave invites so if you don’t have please check it out.

The viral popularity gained by the much touted wave campaign incessantly still makes its place to trending twitter topics. The end-user as well as the geek Google fans still wait for their Wave-Invite but only to land in a portal which is not that user-friendly unlike other Google products which have easy-to-use interfaces to easily make Google the leader in that domain.

The main problem which is being faced by users is the multiuser editing facility.

However, “Google Wave” has some promising features which if improvised could justify the hype surrounding Wave.

Google Wave extensions and robots are really the only things in favour of wave and in a sense is something remarkable because of multiuser controlling it offers.

Quoting Google , “Google Wave extensions lets you add rich content and integrate with other systems “

You can solve sudoku along with your online friends using the “Wave Sudoku Extension”; have a conference call or video chat using other extensions.

Frankly speaking, Google wave is really a good experience if you get the use of extensions and robots.

After you accept an invitation, just explore the help videos to get quick idea about how to use to participate in the wave.

One extension I really liked is the video chat extension:

You can start use it by following these steps:

1. Create a new Wave click on the extension-icon.

2. Add Contacts into the wave.

3. Take your Seat.

4. Wait for them

5. Now start chatting, reading a blog, watching a youtube video, checking out facebook and orkut photo albums all live and together through video chat.

The robots are conceptualised as contacts and you can add them to participate in the wave and they come handy in converting smiley to emoticons, checking twitter status and we can use every other robot which uses an API.

Find yourself how to work with robots and enjoy wave!
