Sometimes you might be thinking of updating your Twitter status by just calling a number and speaking your Tweet. In India Tata Teleservices recently launched the facility to update your Twitter status just by calling a number .And more importantly your followers will listen your voice tweets so there won’t be any language barrier as you can speak in any language ,but it would be better if you speak in English as most of the guys atleast follow this language.

A subscriber can sign up for the service at callntweet.com by using  Twitter account details. Subscribers need to just dial 50007 and send a voice tweet to update their status on Twitter.  A voice tweet surpasses the limitation of 140 characters.The new Call-n-Tweet service is available to all TTSL and TTML subscribers across India, whatever the mobile handset model is.

How it works :

1. Sign in to callntweet.com with your current Twitter user name and password.
2. Provide the phone number that you will use to Call-n-Tweet (the number is never made public).
3. In the USA, call 212-796-6975 from your phone to update your Twitter status. For Call-n-Tweet in other regions, see the list below.
4. Start recording at the beep and hangup when you are done. That’s it! Your Twitter status will be updated with a link to your voice message. All your Twitter followers will receive a notification from Twitter indicating that you have posted a Voice Tweet.

In India, you will have to pay Rs. 0.80 per tweet ,it seems little bit costly but as they are the first one in India to introduce this type of service they are trying to get most from it. Best use of  this seems to me when you don’t have any mean to send message to anyone you can update your Twitter status .
