Most of the guys have problem in changing the settings of sleep,hibernate or do nothing in windows when you close the lid of laptop with Windows 7. In this post you will how to set Windows 7 to do nothing, sleep, hibernate, or shut down when the lid of a laptop is closed.

  • Go to Control Panel from the start menu.
  • Now set the view by small icons or large icons so that you can view the Power Options .

  • Open the Power Options .
  • In the left hand side you will find Choose what closing the lid does .

  • Now change to whatever option you want to choose.

Now you are done. So, enjoy.
