Many times when you download large file from internet you recieve them in the .001 .002 .003 format,something like moviename.avi.001 moviename.avi.002 moviename.avi.003 . In case of video files you can play them using VLC . But in other cases where you might have downloaded a software or ebook . Its better option to go for joining those files.
Well, .001, .002,.003 files are basically split versions of the original file,as there is limitation on size to be uploaded on file hosts people often split the files using some kind of spliter and then again join them while downloading.
To join the .001, .002,.003 files, you can download a freeware called HjSplit , which is one of the best option to join these types of files . I have used it personally lots of time so thought of sharing this with you.
Steps you need to do:
1) Download the HjSplit Software from here .
2) Have all the .001 .002 .003 files in the same folder .
3)Then open the .001 file and click on start .
4) Joining done ,so chill now .
This joining can also be done by Winrar or 7-zip also but sometimes they fail and this software rocks .
