How to Create A Keyboard Shortcut For Snipping Tool In Windows 7

Sometimes you need to take screenshots of your computer to show it to your friends or some other use and you press the print button and then go to the Microsoft Paint and then finally crop the picture to have the desired size of the picture. Most of you might not be familiar with the snipping tool of Windows 7 which is also there in Windows Vista.

With Snipping Tool you can capture text, graphics, and any associated annotations and then save them in your desired format. There isn’t a default keyboard shortcut for Snipping Tool both in Vista and Windows 7.

To create the shortcut for Snipping tool :

  • Go to start and search snipping tool.
  • Then, right click on snipping tool.
  • Click on properties

  • Now assign whichever key you want to assign . For example if you to assign T key then the shortcut key will be Ctrl+Alt+T .
  • So , now enjoy taking screenshots
