You probably would have to deal with at least few dozens of e-mail on a daily basis, and you can’t select them all and delete. The problem with so many e-mails is lot of mails are unsolicited promotion propaganda. However, few mails are not actually spam and you need to know, who the actual sender is to discern the purpose of the e-mail and know about that person before replying.
In most cases, people resort to Google, which might not always help. At such times, facebook comes to rescue. Facebook recently crossed 500 million users worldwide and it’s highly probable that the person may be one of them.
Facebook lets you search profiles of its users by their email address, you just have to “Ctrl+C” & “Ctrl+V” the email address of the sender into the Facebook search box and you’ll reach the profile if it exists.
We all hate getting facebook invites requesting us to install Facebook applications that are of no interest to us. There’s a way to permanently block all those annoying Facebook applications. This will make your profile inaccessible to all other facebook applications. You just need to follow the screenshot below:
In words:
1. Log in to your Facebook account,
2. Select Privacy Settings under Account and then
3. Click “Edit your settings” under the Applications and Websites section. Here you’ll see an option to turn off all the platform applications with a single click as depicted in the image above.
I hope these will enhance your facebook user experience…let me know about it, in the comment form below.
