Everyone wants to make his/her system more ENERGY EFFICIENT. But in Windows the reports which can help to improve your system’s energy efficiency are hidden .This report is usually generated by Powercfg utility and it analyses your system for 60 seconds.This utility generally monitors several system instrumentation points that are sensitive to user activity.When the analysis is completed it shows errors,warnings and some general information about power efficiency.

So just follow these simple steps to know more about your system efficiency:

• Click on start button and type cmd and right click on cmd and run it as Administrator.This will enable an administrative level command prompt.

• Now type powercfg /energy and press enter.

• A report will be  generated and saved in C:\Windows\system32\energy-report.html.

This file contains a report that includes additional details about the energy efficiency problems that Powercfg detected during the analysis.
