If you are selling goods for Indian market or your target market is Indian and then you may wish to use the new Rupee Symbol on your website or in your blog to display the rupee symbol . WebRupee has released a web api for the symbol of Indian currency, it makes the rupee symbol available to everybody on the web.

If might want the rupee symbol look like this in your site:

Rs. 1000

To add Rupee Symbol on your website/blog :

1. Add a stylesheet link in the head section of your webpage:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://webrupee.com/font">

2. Add the following enclosing your Rs.

<span class="WebRupee">Rs.</span> 200

OR

You just need to put a javascript code around the Rs :

<script src="http://webrupee.com/js" type="text/javascript"></script>
