Google Page Rank (PR) Update
Dec 31st, 2008 | By theworldwinner | Category: internetFinally after 3 months wait Google upadated its PR toolbar and the green bar is showing changes .Its a new year gift from Google to all the website owner who were waiting for this from the last 3 months.

- What is Pagerank?
PageRank is a link analysis algorithm used by the Google Internet search engine that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of “measuring” its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. The numerical weight that it assigns to any given element E is also called the PageRank of E and denoted by PR(E).
In Layman’s language you can say that it is the Google’s measurement of a importance of a website.They grade it in 0-10 scale.
This is first update on my site and i got a Page Rank of 1,which by no means a great achievement but by going through my busy schedule its fine for me as i havent done any promotion work for this blog. Hoping to help you all in the coming year 2009.

PR doesnt measure the blog content it just tell how much other
websites give you value and one of the important factors in Google
search engine

Were did you get your blog design?
I strongly recommend that you turn the No Follow off in your comment section. I’ll watch Google Webmaster Tools, and if the links don’t show up after a couple of weeks — I won’t go back to that blog again. Another suggestion: you should have a Top Commentator widget installed. Do Follow and Top Commentator will ensure that you have a successful blog with lots of readers!
