Google announced the Music Beta service during the Google I/O 2011 conference along with lots of other new services. Google Music Beta is a new service from Google that gives you instant access to your personal music collection on the web and your compatible Android devices (without the hassle of wires or syncing.

Google is late in this segment as another big player ,Amazon already launched their online music service, few days back for US users . In Amazon cloud player you get 5 GB of free space and you are charged for any additional amount of data you want to store . In Google Music, you can store upto 20,000 songs and as of now there is no way to upgrade it . But, I think 20,000 songs will be more than sufficient for any normal music lover .

The best feature of the Google Music beta is “Instant Mix” which will create a playlist based on the song you selected . It’s an invitation based service for the US users now and hopefully they will roll this service out in other countries too in the near future. You can also download the Android app for music by Google . If you want to get invited ,request an invitation at http://music.google.com/about/ .
