FitBit introduces the Flex – a wireless activity tracker. The flex is a wristband similar to the Nike’s Fuelband and Jawbone’s Up. This time Fitbit has come up with a design that solves the problem of either losing or misplacing your tiny fitness tracking devices such as the Fitbit One or Fibit Zip.

Flex monitors your daily activities like your distance you walk or time spent for sleeping ,etc. The Flex can track steps taken, distance travelled, calories burned, hours slept, etc. It also has got a silent wake alarm and is water resistant. It also has got sensors and a accelerometer to keep track of your sleeping patterns which reveals the quality of your sleep.
You can set goals and the five LED lights show your progess.Users can sync the data with their PCs, iPhones or Android devices through Bluetooth 4.0 (needs to be turned on for instant updates). You can also connect with friends to share and compete for extra encouragement.

Flex comes in different colors – Slate, Black, Teal and Tangarine to meet the desires of users. The Flex is available for pre-ordering at $99.95. The product is expected to be released in this Spring.
