We got an exclusive preview of the latest Bitdefender Total Security 2013 beta version from Bitdefender and tested it out for the last 4 days on Windows 8 consumer preview and quite satisfies with the result. Bitdefender has been doing quite well with their Bitdefender Internet Security 2012 and this will further enhance their position in the antivirus marketplace.

With  Bitdefender Total Security 2013 beta , you not only get an antivirus, it’s more of a complete PC performance enhancer and after installing this you won’t need TuneUp Utilities software or a registry editor for your computer as it has features which will perform the task of these softwares.

Some of the latest features are :

  • Remote PC location and security swipe

  • A secure, autonomous e-banking environment

  • Personalizing the software for your own security needs

  • Better installation process and option to remove the previous version. This one impressed me a lot as having two antivirus in a single system is like inviting atom bomb to explode on your system.

  • Registry Editor and PC performance optimizer :

Also, it notifies you when you remove your power source and it turns your laptop into a power saver mode.

Download the software from here and give it a try and let us know your views.
