Software pirates have leaked much awaited game of the year Crysis 2.Crytek has asked its loyal fans to ignore this beta,unfinished version and wait for the real game which will be released on march 22.
Crytek and EA are highly dissapointed by the news.They have encouraged the fans to support the development team by waiting and playing the final, polished game on March 22.Crysis 2 is still in development, and the team is hard at work on it and Crysis 2 promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the Nanosuit lets you be the weapon as you defend NYC from an alien invasion.
Judging from information obtained on the file timestamps, this leak is fairly recent, compiled on January 13. During gameplay, it displays a watermark that reads “Crytek – Internal Use Only. Not for Distribution” on several scenes. A sizable chunk of content is out in the open, including single player assets. In other words, it bears no relation to the public demo Crytek plans on releasing soon.

To add insult to injury, it also includes master key files relating to DRM routines, which handle online authentication — according to a user on Facepunch.
Law-abiding gamers who crave a sneak peek at the PC version of Crysis 2 should note that an official demo for the futuristic FPS will be available soon.
To all the downloaders out there, it would be a great idea to buy the original once it comes out, I certainly will.
Though the games out and I guess most of us crysis fans have it up and running, I bet 99% are still going to end up buying it.
Since the finished product is a finished product. Though leaking it out is a really bad thing, but for all those great companies out there, I’d like to say, if the leak of Crysis, should be an example how the number in sales is going to go up, and not dip as they all expect it would.
People will want the game once it comes out in perfectly full and good condition.
For the Crysis team, it’s a great job you guys have done with the first 2 parts so I bet the 3rd is going to blow us all away….. and we have been waiting for a long long time for this…..
