•  Click on the Start icon. In the search box, type regedit. Open the regedit.exe.
• You can also open regedit by typing regedit in the Run command( Windows key + R)

• In regedit,expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>>SOFTWARE>>Microsoft>>Windows>>CurrentVersion>>Authentication>>LogonUI and then click on Background.

• Double click on the OEMBackground, and change its value from 0 to 1.

•  Now,open windows explorer and navigate to : %windir%\system32\oobe (%windir% refers to location of Windows 7)
• Create a new folder and name it info(if it does not exists). Now, create another new folder inside info and name it as backgrounds.
• Rename the wallpaper which you want as background to backgroundDefault and place it in the background folder. (image should be a .jpg file of size less than 256KB)

That’s it! Logoff and watch the changes.

The graph displays the stability of your system on a daily basis. It identifies unexpected issues and provides a report that you can study and utilize to reduce the cause of decreasing reliability. To access the Reliabilty Monitor, Go to Control Panel >> Action Center >> Reliability Monitor. The simplest and easiest way is just type ‘reliability’ in the search box and hit Enter.

Once the Reliabilty Monitor opens, you can see a graph depicting the stability of your system in the recent period. For the past, you can traverse to your left by clicking on the graph and then using your left arrow. On the day you installed Windows 7 you are given a stability index of 10(most stable). To the extreme right you can find your present day stability index and five reliability events. These events include : Application Failures, Windows Failures, Miscellaneous Failures, Warnings, and Information. Different type of icons represent different errors. The errors are discussed in detailed in the lower window of the Reliability Monitor. Any recent failure leads to a sharp decrease in the index. The stability index will increase if there are no system failures.

Reliability Monitors helps you to diagnose and analyze the problems in your system that are affecting your stability. For example, in the above graph, on 26/9/2011, a update and reconfiguration of Adobe Acrobat X Pro (informational events) along with a critical event where Google Chrome had a issue, reduced the stability index. • Open Control Panel, followed by System and Maintenance.
• Click on Administrative Tools, and then Computer Management. (If you are asked for a password then provide the password.)
• In the Navigation pane, under Storage, click Disk Management.
• Right-click on the drive that you want to shrink and select Shrink Volume option.

• In the New Simple Volume Wizard, click Next. 
• Enter the size in megabytes (MB) and then click Next.

A yellow exclamation mark indicates that either you have limited access or no access to the internet.

To get rid of this you can try doing any one of the below:

1. Unplugging and then plugging in your cable. If the problem still persists try changing your cable. Sometimes there may be a fault in the cable.
2. Disabling and enabling your internet connection.
3. Switch off the modem and wait for few seconds. Restart your modem as there might be a problem with the cache.

Troubleshoot to find out what the problem is. Make sure that you have the correct settings configured on your systems. If you use a proxy server, make sure that you have used a correct proxy and have enabled it.To configure your settings:

If the problem still exists then try contacting your service provider.

To know about the IP settings:

You can open the command prompt and then type ipconfig/all.

To check whether the driver is working properly,

1. Right click on My Computer and select the Properties.
2. Open the device manager and check for an exclamation mark near the network adapters.

If you find an exclamation mark there it indicates that the driver is not functioning properly. Re-install your drivers.

After series of steps mentioned below you would not lack that feature anymore ,so lets get started :

1. Get a copy of C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpband.dll from a computer with WMP11 on it (for the same type of os, i.e. 32/64 bit)  , Or simply
   Download the wmpband.dll file from here .
2. Copy the file to  C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player
3. Stop the Windows Media Player network sharing service , if it is enabled . It can be done by searching for Services in start menu search box .  
4. Open command prompt as Administrator and execute  the following commandregsvr32 “c:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpband.dll”

   Here  “c” is your Windows 7 drive and Do not forget to open it as administrator .

   
   

    

5. Run Windows Media Player 12 and minimize it .Right click on the toolbar -> toolbars and select Windows Media Player . Click Yes if you are prompted with “The Windows Media Player toolbar isn’t compatible with this version of Windows” message .

• A report will be  generated and saved in C:\Windows\system32\energy-report.html.

To convert handwriting in your note to text, follow the following steps:

1. Click on Start, search for Windows Journal and open it.

2. In the Edit options, click Selection Tool.

3.Draw a loop around the handwriting that you want to convert.

4.Go to the Actions menu and click on the Convert handwriting to text option.

5.Click on the options button in the text correction dialog box.

6.If your handwritten notes  consists of several lines, these lines are preserved in the Converted text box and in the output text. Select this option if line breaks are important. Uncheck this option if line breaks are unimportant.

7.If any word is recognized incorrectly, look for the correct word in the Alternative box. If you find it, click the word, and then click Change. If you don’t find the correct word, you must enter it using the keyboard or Tablet PC Input Panel, and then click OK.

• Copy to the Clipboard: This option allows you to paste your text into another program. The handwriting in your note remains unchanged.

• If you chose to copy your converted text to the Clipboard, you can paste the text into any program.
• If you chose to insert your converted text into a text box, the original ink is deleted and the new text box is inserted in its place.
