Just when you were thinking that the Magic Mouse couldn’t get any more magical, Apple went forward and patented a design of a mouse with a screen on top. Apparently the display opens up  a wide range of possibilities including using the mouse as numeric keypad, a phone, a personal digital assistant, or a graphics pad, to name just a few. Whats more is that some kind of collimated glass is used on top will allow it to display a magnified of view of whatever is underneath, and we are not just talking about a capacitive touchscreen here. Its just patent application, and it doesn’t mean something: Apple has a lot of them, which are yet to become anything.
