Google has finally announced a new refreshed look for its Gmail mobile web app and Gmail offline. Since the launch of Gmail app for iOS in December, many users have given good response to its new design. So now Google has updated its Gmail on mobile web and Gmail offline app to look like iOS app.

Since launching the rebooted Gmail app for iPhone and iPad in December (http://goo.gl/2m7pd), we’ve heard from many of you that you like the redesigned UI, along with new features such as improved search and integration with Google Calendar. Today we’re rolling out a similar refreshed look to the Gmail mobile web app as well as Gmail Offline (http://goo.gl/0f1ae) that includes many of these same changes. Try it out at gmail.com in the browser of your Android, iOS, Blackberry or Kindle Fire device. #MobileMonday.
Also Google will update its Gmail Offline app for Chrome. The app is still yet to come but it’ll surely work offline and give you a two panel view. The look and feel of the page will be like as Gmail in iPhone or in iPad. Features like facelift and Google Calendar will also add into this update. This update will give you a good amount of whitespace with larger fonts and a cleaner surface.

I am using gmail for a long time and it was really great but I didn’t try it yet in mobile.
The gmail app is very useful. It’s great to see the web version is improving towards that design.I’m a Gmail power user, but recently started using the Mailbox app and it revolutionized my approach to email. A lot more productive.

The previous version of Gmail App was crashing a lot on iPhone models, especially 3GS and many other professions. I think this major refresh has been done because of that reason.
